Dinesh has extensive knowledge and experience within the electricity industry, including thermal and hydro generation plant, management systems and market trading enabling an excellent understanding of wholesale operations and retail customer requirements. His research and partnering with scientific and other organisations has developed his knowledge and understanding of new and emerging technologies such as wind, solar energy, storage systems, distributed generation and advanced metering.
With significant commercial experience, including business development initiatives in New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific, combined with systems and technical audit experience, he is well regarded for his ability to recognise value added opportunities through his understanding of customer needs and overseeing the implementation of customer focused initiatives.
